michael j. kruse

Michael was born and raised in St. Louis. He graduated John F. Kennedy High School before attending Washington University in St. Louis where he graduated in 1984. Following his graduation from Washington University, Michael knew he was going to law school but wanted the experience of attending a university out of state so, after consulting with his adviser at Washington University, Michael chose not to attend the Washington University School of Law and, instead, he received his law degree from Marquette University School of Law, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1987. Immediately following graduation from law school Michael became an Assistant District Attorney for the State of Wisconsin. Michael served as an Assistant District Attorney for the State of Wisconsin for approximately two (2) years, before returning to Missouri. During his time as Assistant District Attorney Michael gained a great deal of invaluable trial experience, including the successful prosecution of over twenty (20) jury trials and hundreds of judge tried cases. His experience as an Assistant District Attorney made for an easy transition into the private practice of law with an emphasis on all forms of litigation, criminal and civil.

Michael has been practicing law for over thirty-four (34) years.
